What if I don't have a valid government ID?
You can still have access to more features such as Send Money, for 1 year. You can get partially verified by clicking the option within the GCash App when you trigger the verification process. All you need is a selfie and some personal information and you’re good to go.
What is the difference between being partially and fully verified?
If you are only partially verified, you won’t have access to all the services of GCash such as:
- Cash-In through Debit Cards and Online Banking
- International Remittance
- Invest Money
You will also have lower spending limits. If you are fully verified, you have access to all products and services of GCash while also enabling you to spend up to PHP100K per month.

Why do I need to get verified?
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas requires all financial institutions to undergo a Know-Your-Customer process. This is to verify the customer’s true identity, ensure confidentiality of accounts and avoid illegal activities such as money laundering and funding of terrorist activity.
What if I am a minor, can I still get verified?
Yes, you can still get verified through our FB messenger channel called GCash Official. You just need to prepare a signed consent letter made by your parent/guardian.
