I published the 2023 version of this article on my favorite Coinkolik page last year. Now we will do a similar one for the new year and see if the predictions made last year come true.

While 2023 was filled with negative news such as regulatory pressures and the Binance case, the possibility of approval of the spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) created a very positive atmosphere as the year ended. While the price of Bitcoin was at the level of 16 thousand dollars at the beginning of 2023, as we approach the end of the year, the world’s largest cryptocurrency in terms of market value has risen to the level of 42 thousand dollars.

Of course, the important development waiting for us in 2024 is not only spot BTC ETF approval. There is also the Bitcoin Halving period, which occurs every four years. In light of all these developments, economists and industry leaders made very optimistic comments.
