We went on the Grand European (which we loved) and I would say the average age was around 65 -there was maybe 2 couples that were under 50. But everyone was very active and got along well.

There were all ages on our Viking River Cruise last summer....but most were over 30,
although there were a few that were younger. It was a nice mix of people of all ages and from many different countries. We enjoyed meeting people of all ages and made friends with couples from 3 different countries. We found all were open to making new friends and were very welcoming.

Mostly 55+, but ours had a few 40-55 folks. All ages seemed content with the mix.

We went on the Bordeaux cruise in May 2016 , and enjoyed it so much , we are going again next month !
Average age ( on all of the Viking cruises which we have done - 5) is from mid 50s to late 70s.
