Strongest robot arm (2024)

The strongest industrial robot arm is the M-2000iA/2300 Super Heavy Payload Robot made by the Fanuc Corporation (JPN). It is a six-axis robotic arm which can pick up and move objects weighing as much as 2,300 kg (5,070 lb). The M-2000iA/2300 is the strongest version of Fanuc's M-2000iA robot, and was launched in 2016.

The M-2000iA can rotate almost 360 degrees from its fixed floor mounting. It has a horizontal reach of 3.7 m (12 ft 1 in) and can lift things 4.6 m (15 ft 1 in) off the ground. The robot is designed for applications where manufacturers need to gently and precisely move extremely heavy objects, such as fully assembled cars or large metal castings.

The payload capacity of the M-2000iA/2300 greatly exceeds that of its nearest rivals, the Kawasaki MG15HL and the Kuka Titan, which can lift 1,500 kg (3,306 lb) and 1,350 kg (2,976 lb) respectively.
