The Navy Federal Platinum Credit Card's cash advance APR is 13.24% - 18% (V). In addition to this, you'll also be charged a $0.5 cash advance fee when you perform a cash advance at an ATM or bank that isn't affiliated with Navy Federal. Navy Federal Credit Union cash advances, on the other hand, don't have a fee.

That said, cash advances can be quite expensive. Instead of doing one, use your card to pay for your purchases wherever you can....

A good credit score is needed for the Navy Federal Platinum Credit Card.

Having the required credit score won't guarantee you'll be approved for it, though. Your income and any existing debts are just as important factors, and Navy Federal will take them all into consideration when looking at your application. Also keep in mind that you cannot apply for the Navy Federal Platinum Credit Card without a Navy Federal Credit Union membership.

Navy Federal Credit Union pulls their applicants' reports from TransUnion or Equifax; sometimes, from both. You can check your TransUnion credit report right here on WalletHub, and it's completely free!

@MaddaLorena

The Navy Federal Platinum Credit Card's minimum payment is $20 or 2% of your new statement balance, whichever is greater.

You can keep your account in good standing by paying your minimum amount due each month. However, for the portion of your balance that remains unpaid, you'll be charged interest. To avoid interest charges on your Navy Federal Platinum Credit Card, always pay back what you owe in full.

Yes, the Navy Federal Platinum Credit Card reports your activity to the major credit bureaus TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax on a monthly basis. This can help you improve your credit score over time, as long as you remember to pay it before the due date.

The card offers decently low rates, but doesn’t earn rewards. Additionally, CLI requires a hard pull! I would only recommend this card if you need to hold a balance for a few months and don’t want to get swallowed by interest.

I recently got a NFCU Platinum card 25k CLI 11% APR with my horrible 563 credit score. Leaving USAA for Navy Federal has been the best decision ive made in the last 10 years easy.

I also have NFCU Platinum card, $18k @ 5.99%, $7k cash advance limit. NFCU cash rewards MasterCard $25k @ 9.65% + $8k cash advance limit... Since I have direct deposit @ NFCU, now get 1.75% cash back on any, AND ALL purchases when using my Navy cash rewards card ( Used to be 1.5% ) All my main accounts are with Navy. NFCU is by far the Best CU. Their customer service is TOP NOTCH. Navy HANDS DOWN, beats USAA, & nearly every other CU out there with dividends, credit card rates. Although I refi'd my truck through USAA, I should have did it with Navy, because they offered an additional $200 bonus if I refi'd with them... Oh well, I was still happy @ 3.99% on my truck... Go Navy Fed and USAA !!! My credit scores are 800+ steady over the last 5+ years.

I keep a balance on my card to show I am using it. I pay more than my minimum payment. Every 3 or 4 months I pay the whole balance. The credit available will increase every 5 months long as you're making payments.

Just applied for this card at 12:30 am on 10/15/20... application took a 1 min or 2.. it took me around 10 minutes because I was scared to hit submit.... ( Fear of the unknown). The only reason I applied for this card is to raise my income to debt ratio.. I'm so glad I applied for this card, as I have heard only great reviews about Navy Federal in their services.. I've been a member since 2002, the year I enlisted.. I got approved for $25,000.. I have never seen this much money ever!! . Now I know it's real.. JESUS CHRIST.... I'M IN AWE.. CAN'T EVEN SLEEP.. ?️THANK YOU NAVY FEDERAL, I'M A LIFE MEMBER ?
