3. What makes ACCA different from a CA is that ACCA is a globally recognized course, whereas CA is only recognized in India. Moreover, ACCA as a course gives you the freedom to write papers in any order. One must however keep in mind that the Skills level can be attempted once the Knowledge level is cleared, and similarly, Professional-level papers can be attempted only after completing the Skills level. This option is not available while preparing for CA exams. You need to attempt for the entire group, and hence, the difficulty level is quite high in CA as compared to the ACCA course. 
4. The best part about the ACCA course is that a maximum of 8 papers can be taken in a year, which means to complete the 13 papers and one Ethics module would take around 2-3 years. Whereas, CA can take up to 5-7 years depending on the time and the efforts invested. As discussed earlier, it takes more time to complete CA because of the difficulty level and lower pass rates.

Apart from the Diploma and Advanced Diploma certificate in Accounting and Business, one can get an opportunity to earn the BSC (Hons) degree in Applied Accounting which is awarded by the Oxford Brookes University. You can also earn the MSC degree in Professional Accountancy from the University of London.

The ACCA course has three different levels and the syllabus for the same is as follows:

The Knowledge level consists of three papers which are:

1. Business and Technology
2. Management Accounting
3. Financial Accounting

The Skills level has a total of six papers, which are as follows: 

1. Corporate and Business Law
2. Performance Management
3. Taxation
4. Financial Reporting
5. Audit and Assurance
6. Financial Management

The syllabus of the Professional level papers are as follows: 

1. Strategic Business Leader
2. Strategic Business Reporting

These two are the mandatory papers that candidates must opt for.

These are the optional papers out of which two papers are mandatory:

1. Advanced Performance Management
2. Advanced Financial Management
3. Advanced Taxation
4. Advanced Audit and Assurance

These are the subjects that will be covered under the ACCA course syllabus. This can also be called the ACCA course structure. The ACCA course structure includes three levels which are the Knowledge level, Skills level, and Professional level.

• If you have just completed your 10+2 then unfortunately you will not be eligible for any exemptions. 
• If you have completed your B.com then you will be eligible for four papers exemption which are F1, F2, F3, and F4.
• If you have completed your B.com and IPCC both the groups then you will be eligible for six papers exemption which F1, F2, F3, F4, F6, and F8. 
• If you have completed B.com and CA, then you will be eligible for maximum exemptions which are from F1-F9.
