Crown Commercial Service (CCS) is committed to achieving Net Zero Emissions by 2050.
We are aware that reducing our Greenhouse Gas Emissions represents significant benefits for us, our customers, suppliers and the wider community.
Our Carbon Reduction Plan covers the strategies for CCS' ongoing commitment to the management and reduction of our business-related carbon emissions.
The plan will cover CCS' baseline year information, setting clear targets for reducing Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions over key timeframes and listing our planned projects to achieve carbon net zero by 2050.

Administered by the Federal Highway Administration, the program provides $6.4 billion in formula funding over five years for states to develop carbon reduction strategies and for projects to reduce transportation carbon dioxide emissions, including traffic management, public transportation, pedestrian facilities, ...
Carbon Reduction Plans (CRPs) are to be completed on behalf of the bidding supplier and must meet the reporting requirements set out in this guidance, and include the supplier's current carbon footprint and its commitment to reducing emissions to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2050.
The CRP Program Guidelines ensure a project selection process in compliance with federal program guidance and regulations. Eligible applicants for CRP funding include SCAG cities, counties, transit agencies, federally recognized Tribal governments and county transportation commissions.
Many Fortune 500 companies have outlined decarbonisation strategies to achieve their targets. These strategies rely on a number of levers that include accelerating the shift to renewables, developing new product offerings, re-locating facilities, investing in carbon capture and optimising tax credits.
Cutting down on the miles you drive is one of the best things you can do for reducing carbon emissions. Organize shopping trips to get more done on each outing, walk or bike when distances are shorter, and use public transportation as much as possible.
In exchange for a yearly rental payment, farmers enrolled in the program agree to remove environmentally sensitive land from agricultural production and plant species that will improve environmental health and quality.

The Climate Change Response Act sets a target of reaching net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. It also requires the creation of emissions budgets, which are interim emission reduction targets that step toward the 2050 target and have to be met through domestic action alone.
In carbon reduction metal ore is heated with carbon where carbon acts as a reduction agent that reduces metal oxides by removing oxygen in order to produce metal elements such as zinc, iron lead etc. and by obtaining oxygen, carbon itself gets oxidized, and gives carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide.
In brief, to reduce your carbon footprint, you'll want to do things like reduce the amount of energy you use, eat fewer animal products, shop locally, travel smart, and reduce your waste.
Scope 3 includes all other indirect emissions that occur in the upstream and downstream activities of an organisation. The GHG Protocol's Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard identifies 15 categories.
Typically it will include a summary of previous carbon footprint assessments, carefully identifed carbon reduction targets and defined actions to achieve the goals set by the organisation.
A carbon footprint is the total amount of greenhouse gases (including carbon dioxide and methane) that are generated by our actions. The average carbon footprint for a person in the United States is 16 tons, one of the highest rates in the world.
